Lactation

 

The Thomas County Health Department has two Certified Lactation Counselors on staff to help new mothers with any assessment needs, problems and concerns they may have with their new infant. 

 

We at Thomas County Health Department want your breastfeeding experience to be a success in every way. Our CLC can work together with your provider to give you the skill and the know-how to make sure you can establish a breastfeeding time that is enjoyable for both you and baby.

 

Please call to schedule an appointment or to speak with one of them. Also, let us check to see if your insurance will pay for your consultation.
